Trish Stratus: Stay Tuned For More Stratusfaction After WWE Elimination Chamber

Trish Stratus reflects on her match at WWE Elimination Chamber and teases that she’ll be back.

At WWE Elimination Chamber, Stratus and WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton defeated Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.

In a WWE Elimination Chamber digital exclusive, Trish Stratus shared her thoughts following her match.

“It’s still digesting,” Stratus said. “That was incredible. To be doing this on my home turf was incredible. Teaming up with an athlete like Tiffany was just such a…we clicked from the beginning, and we’ve been really working together. We had this opportunity to team up, so we took advantage of it, and we made sure we were in sync, and we trained together, we did yoga together, preparing for this moment. I was performing for the first time in front of my kids, in front of my hometown crowd. It’s a big part of my twenty-fifth-year anniversary. I had to nail it.

“I knew I had to go out and just kill it. I’ve always said, I don’t wanna come back and give 60%, I want to give 100%, or else don’t bother coming back. So I did all I could do. Preparedness meets opportunity is my motto. Did all my due diligence to give it to you.”

Trish Stratus Teases Her Plans

Stratus went on to praise Tiffany Stratton, and she said that she wanted to deliver so that she wouldn’t be a “blip” in her trajectory.

“If you look at Tiffany Stratton, the trajectory is just upwards,” Trish Stratus said. “The momentum is upwards. I did not want to be blip in her trajectory, so it was really important for me to go out there and deliver 100%, and I think we did all right.”

When asked if she had a message for her fans, the WWE Hall of Famer said, “Stay tuned for more Stratusfaction.”
