Roman Reigns takes a shot at CM Punk.
In a new video from IGN, Roman Reigns reacted to viral memes about him. In one highlight, he responded to the picture of him and CM Punk at WWE Survivor Series, where he stopped Punk from leaving the cage. The Pittsburgh Steelers made it into a meme by putting their logo and that of the Cleveland Browns on top of Reigns and Punk, respectively. After making it clear that he was a 49ers fan, Reigns took a shot at Punk.
“This photo’s good and this moment was excellent,” Reigns said. “This has real meaning here. Punk can’t do shit while I’m around.”
Paul Heyman On Roman Reigns
At the Monday Night Raw on Netflix Premiere Post-Show, Paul Heyman commented on what fans could expect from Reigns in the year ahead. He emphasized that Reigns deserved an Emmy.
“Well, it’s really not about what people should expect from Roman Reigns,” he said. “It’s about what Roman Reigns and the Wise Man should expect from everyone else: their support. We’re now on a platform that simply cannot be denied, whether domestically or globally. There is no excuse anymore for Roman Reigns not to be nominated for—and win—an Emmy this year. It has to happen.
“I’m so sick of it. The entire television industry has moved forward post-COVID, and Roman Reigns didn’t miss a single week of television, even while production was shut down. He carried this company through the COVID era, brought it to where it is today, to a multi-billion-dollar merger, and now we’re on Netflix. There are no more excuses. Roman Reigns deserves an Emmy.”
