Triple H teases that big things are in store at WWE Elimination Chamber.
In the WWE Universe, all eyes will be on Toronto this weekend, as both Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown and WWE Elimination Chamber will be held in the city.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H took to Twitter and wrote that Friday marked the start of an “industry-changing weekend.”
With two Elimination Chamber matches and an appearance from The Rock, Saturday is sure to be a memorable night in Toronto.
The Rock On Triple H
One major reason why fans are already buzzing about WWE Elimination Chamber is The Rock. “The Final Boss” has been announced for the show following his confrontation with Cody Rhodes on the February 21st episode of WWE SmackDown.
At the WWE SmackDown Post-Show Press Conference, The Rock discussed collaborating with Nick Khan and Triple H. He said that he and Triple H talk all the time.
“That will be Nick Khan, and that will be Paul, Triple H, as well. With those two guys in particular…wrestling is I think an interesting business to be in because while it’s a big business, I also feel like you gotta love it. If you’re these C-suite executes, you have to love the business. That’s what Triple H, loves this business. I’ve known him for a long time. We’ve done a lot of fun stuff together, lot of crazy stuff. He’s doing a great job. I talk with him often, we’re very close. What I like about Triple H is that he’ll present me with something, I’ll like it, then we’ll chop it up, we’ll talk about it, and I’ll present him with something else.
“But ultimately, what I love about Paul, by the way, it’s always been this way with Paul. Even back when we were wrestling together every night on the road is that, ‘Hey, let’s do something that’s never been done. Let’s do something that’s unpredictable, let’s do something that’s bold.’ So regarding tonight with The Final Boss and coming to Cody Rhodes and saying, ‘I want to make you bigger than The Rock, and I want to provide you, I want to make all your dreams come true,’ audacious and bold and disruptive. I could tell Paul, and he’ll say, ‘Great, let’s go for it.’ I love that about him, and that’s the bond that we have. Nick is the same way. By the way, Ari Emanuel, who’s my very close business partner, who’s the owner, feels the same way too.”
