Ryback would need involvement from The Rock before he considered returning to the WWE.
The former Intercontinental Champion famously left the WWE in August 2016. This was followed by numerous social media attacks on the WWE and Vince McMahon, which burned all bridges between the two parties.
He claimed that the world would be better if Vince McMahon was dead. However, with the former WWE Chairman now ousted from the company, the door may be creaking slightly ajar for a return of The Big Guy to the WWE.
Speaking in a video on Twitter, Ryback addressed a potential return to the WWE. “The Big Guy” has not wrestled since having a match for Northeast Wrestling in 2018. His last match in WWE was a loss to Kalisto on the WWE Payback kickoff show in 2016.
He said that now Vince McMahon is gone that he has “moved on past the situation”, although whether WWE has is another thing entirely. However, he added that The Rock would need to be involved to make a potential return happen.
“Now that Vince [McMahon] is gone, I am well, well moved on past the situation,” Ryback said. “I wish them all the best, I am doing great. I am at peace with everything on that, and I won what I needed to win. They’re doing good, I’m doing good. Life is good. I’ve got my health back. I’ve been blessed. Very grateful for everything, for something like that to even remotely happen.”
“Some serious wrongs need to be righted. And it would most honestly take The Rock getting involved for something to get done,” Ryback added.
Looks like Ryback will take up The Rock’s offer to sell his soul then.
