Drew McIntyre: Cody Rhodes Might Sell His Soul To The Rock, But I’ve Always Been A ‘One-Man Army’

Drew McIntyre wouldn’t sell his soul to The Rock. However, he thinks Cody Rhodes would do anything to be on top.

The Rock had a bizarre promo segment with Cody Rhodes last week on Smackdown. The Final Boss wanted the WWE Champion to be “his” champion and asked for the American Nightmare’s soul in return.

It was an odd request and one Cody Rhodes seems unlikely to accept. Drew McIntyre disagrees though.

Speaking on a media call to promote Elimination Chamber, Drew McIntyre was asked if he thinks Cody Rhodes will sell his soul to The Rock and if he would do the same if offered. He claimed that Cody would do anything to stay on top, including selling his soul.

However, he is a “one-man army” and would never accept such a deal.

“When it comes to Cody, I don’t know,” Drew McIntyre admitted. “He’s worked very hard to get where he’s at. I don’t love some of the actions he’s had towards me recently. I literally put myself out in front of the world and tried to give him some advice—he told me to go screw myself and then jumped on me. But there’s a part of me that believes Cody would do literally anything to be on top and stay on top.”

“As for The Rock, people ask if I’d sell my soul like Cody might. But I’ve always been a one-man army. I’ve had offers to team up, I’ve had people say they’ll watch my back, but I don’t do that. I’ve always tried to do things my way, and I don’t see that changing,” added Drew McIntyre.
