Tiffany Stratton suffers WWE SmackDown wardrobe malfunction
Viewers reported a “blackout” during the February 21st SmackDown. This happened during Stratton’s match against LeRae, with the feed briefly being cut.
However, the feed wasn’t cut on Netflix, revealing that Stratton had suffered a wardrobe malfunction during the match as her top briefly slipped out of place. While the moment was very brief, it was enough to cause USA Network to censor it, causing the blackout.
After the brief cut, USA Network continued to air SmackDown as usual, with no references made to the outage.
Highlights of the match can be viewed below:
This isn’t the first time the Women’s Champion’s wardrobe has resulted in a TV blackout. Back in February 2024, a similar incident saw the live broadcast briefly being cut in a match against Zelina Vega.
While Stratton may have won the match, we questioned why it took her so long to beat her opponent in our latest Hits and Misses. The bout concluded with Charlotte standing tall over her rival after Nia Jax laid out the champion, pointing to the WrestleMania sign as Stratton lay in the center of the ring. Nia Jax also became a talking point after the match, after her finisher had her landing on Trish Stratus’ face.
But this wasn’t the most questionable moment from last Friday’s SmackDown. The Rock’s return during the show raised a lot of eyebrows, especially considering the People’s Champ claimed that his story with Cody Rhodes didn’t need to end in a match.
