WWE recently filed to trademark “Kalyx” and a new report provides an update.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that the new trademark is not for Sol Ruca, whose real name is Calyx. Some fans had speculated this could be the case. However, per Sapp, sources close to the situation say that the trademark is for referee Jessika Carr. Carr wrestled at the recent WWE EVOLVE tapings under a mask. She competed in a tag team match on the fourth episode that was taped, per sources.
Carr was previously a wrestler on the independent scene before she joined WWE.
