Liv Morgan suffered from a bad-looking cut on Monday Night Raw last night.
The former Women’s World Champion was seen with blood covering her face during a backstage segment on Raw. She put her head on Dominik Mysterio’s lap before he confronted Finn Balor, with the dried blood covering the area around her right eye.
She also argued for a new member to join Judgement Day, which Finn Balor was vehemently against. Nobody in the segment mentioned her bloody eye, which occurred earlier in the night.
The nasty-looking cut actually occurred during Liv Morgan’s match earlier in the night. She teamed with Raquel Rodriguez against Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai of Damage Control, in a match that saw Sky pin Liv Morgan to win the match for her team.
However, the cut occurred earlier in the bout. During the match, Rodriguez had Liv Morgan in a powerbomb position and used her as a battering ram to attack their opponents.
However, a wayward knee from Dakota Kai found its way to Liv Morgan’s face. It cut above her right eye, and the former women’s world champion immediately clutched her face, hiding it from the camera. Blood quickly flowed from her face and Liv Morgan valiantly completed the match, taking the pinfall in a disappointing defeat.
She showed off the gash above her eye after the show, playfully commenting that Dominik still thinks she is cute.

Liv Morgan Highlights How Tough Her Injury Recovery Was
Liv Morgan recently sat down with Eric LeGrand on the Cup of bELieve Podcast to talk about her shoulder injury. The former Women’s world champion revealed how hard it was, needing help to dress and brush her hair, among other things.
However, she thanked her great support system for helping her through and making her stronger than ever.
“I had shoulder surgery in July of last year. I had dislocated my shoulder, and in doing that, I tore my rotator cuff, my labrum, and my bicep. That was my first injury of my career. I had never had surgery before—so I really didn’t know what to expect or what I was in for in terms of the recovery process.” Liv Morgan said.
“In the beginning, I needed help with everything. I wasn’t able to dress or undress, brush my hair, or put my hair up. Mentally, it was a big adjustment because I was so used to being on TV every week and being at WWE. Sitting at home for the first time in my career was different—I didn’t even know how I liked to spend my time. I went from having no time to myself to suddenly having all the time in the world.”
“It was definitely a challenge, but I had such a great support system. I was so excited to come back to work and be stronger than ever. And we made it back—we made it back on the other side.” added Liv Morgan.
