Liv Morgan has revealed that she much prefers being a heel, which is her “red flag”.
2024 was the year when Liv Morgan embraced her heel persona and became a top star in the WWE. Additionally, her reign as the Women’s World Champion was one of the most impressive all year, with her feud with Rhea Ripley being the most heated throughout the entire WWE.
Since losing the title to Ripley at the 2025 Royal Rumble, Liv Morgan is gearing up to retain the title. However, she doesn’t plan on turning face anytime soon, much preferring to be a heel.
Liv Morgan appeared on Eric LeGrand’s A Cup of bELieve Podcast where she was asked if she prefers to be a heel or a face. The former Women’s World Champion revealed that she naturally gravitated towards the heels, calling it her “toxic trait”.
Additionally, she said that she loves the feeling of getting fans riled up, much more than getting them to cheer her.
“I think I gravitate towards bad guys, maybe naturally. I just feel like there’s a reason for everything, a reason for the behavior.” Liv Morgan said. “I just feel like there’s a reason for everything, There’s a reason for this behavior. There’s something misunderstood there that I kind of want to figure out. That’s my toxic trait, that’s my red flag.”
“It’s the best, it’s so funny, it’s such a different feeling than being cheered, being disliked. To get people riled up to where they want to voice their displeasure for you. It is such a funny feeling and I love it.” added Liv Morgan.
