Joe Hendry: How Wonderful Would TNA DLC Be In WWE 2K25?

Joe Hendry believes that we could see TNA Wrestling DLC in WWE 2K25 this year.

TNA World Champion Joe Hendry was a recent guest on the Ariel Helwani Show. While discussing the upcoming release of WWE 2K25, Hendry teased that we could potentially see TNA DLC in this year’s edition of the popular video game franchise.

“Something that would be wonderful for both companies and most importantly the fans, can you imagine if we had TNA DLC? That would be huge,” Joe Hendry said. “That’s not just the modern roster like myself. That could be classic AJ Styles. That would be exciting.” [H/T: Fightful]

There are five DLC packs currently scheduled for WWE 2K25 this year but their contents have yet to be announced.

DLC packs have been a love/hate relationship between 2K and the WWE Games community in recent years. 2K20 caught a lot of anger from the fans for offering “original” content such as alternate realm arenas and versions of wrestlers already in the game.

While that game might be in people’s rearview, the Pat McAfee and Friends pack in WWE 2K24 was a hotly contested topic among fans as many believe McAfee’s friends took the spots of more deserving talent from the NXT brand. McAfee would dispute these complaints but it certainly seems like there could be some validity to them.

WWE 2K25 is scheduled to be released on March 14. If you pre-order the higher-end editions you can play starting on March 7.
