JDC (Fandango) Makes Surprise Appearance On WWE NXT

Fandango, now known as JDC, made his surprise return to WWE NXT.

NXT Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King came to the ring on the February 4th episode and discussed his recent success. He stated that he would be changing the way that the Heritage Cup would be defended. King said that the days of Rounds Matches were in the past, as the title would be defended in standard one-fall matches.

Fandango’s music hit, and the former WWE star came to the ring. He stated that he was now JDC, and he was representing TNA’s The System.

JDC then stated that he wanted gold, and he would be challenging for the Heritage Cup next week. King took some shots at JDC. They then went back and forth on the mic. King ended the showdown by saying that he and JDC would “dance” next week.

JDC’s appearance was the latest showcase of the working relationship between NXT and TNA. WWE announced an official partnership with TNA in January.

Fandango previously had a lengthy NXT run, and he won the NXT Tag Team Championship with Tyler Breeze. WWE released him in June 2021. He has been with TNA since October 2022. He competed at Bound For Glory 2022, and he signed with the company in January 2023.
