Winner- Jey Uso

Grade: B

The Men’s Royal Rumble started off hot, lulled in the middle, and picked up at the end. The finish of this match was a genuine shock. Jey Uso winning was not on this writer’s bingo card, but in hindsight, it makes perfect sense. Jey is the most over person in WWE at this point. The question is, now, do you put the world title on Jey?

WWE Royal Rumble Review:

This was solid but not great PLE. People will most likely complain about the lack of surprises in the men’s Royal Rumble, but the clear counter is that the surprise finish trumps any surprise entrant they could come up with, short of the ghost of André the Giant that would have been better than the surprise finish. The women’s Rumble was better than the men’s (which seems to be a trend) this year due to the lack of lulls in the women’s match. Owens and Rhodes attempted to murder each other, which was so entertaining this writer is about to watch it again. What do you all think happens next? Let us know what you think in the comments.
