One of the longest storylines in WWE is the one involving The Bloodline. Throughout the Bloodline storyline, the faction wrestled multiple opponents. Stars such as Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, and many more. Recently, the Original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns shared his thoughts on how feuding with the Bloodline helped other wrestlers.
While speaking on the Shak Wrestling podcast, Roman Reigns mentioned that by feuding with the Bloodline wrestlers have only grown and progressed in their careers. Reigns mentioned how stars such as Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre are still evolving and growing.
“They’re still affected by us. They are still… We… I mean, we wrap them in layers. Just the way that we’ve done for ourselves and how I just described what we did with Sami, and for Sami, and how Sami helped us. We’ve done it with everybody. Drew still… His moral code is based off of the abuse that I put him through. The knowledge that I dropped on him.
“I literally just saw something like a promo that we did years ago. And I was telling him like, ‘You’re gonna thank me one day.’ And that was the truth. I think that’s the beauty of this is we’re not… We are very creative in what we do. But we don’t go so far outside of the real world and trying to keep that continuity and that authenticity to where people can relate to it. But yeah, I think there’s no question. All those guys, Seth [Rollins], I mean he was running with us in April. And we weeped him in throughout that whole process.”
Cody Rhodes was never more relevant than when he was feuding with the Tribal Chief claims Roman Reigns
The Tribal Chief shared that the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes is a great champion because he defeated Roman Reigns. He also shared that Rhodes was most relevant when he was in a feud with the Head of the Table.
“Look, Cody [Rhodes]’s a great champion. He beat me, so he’s gotta be right? But he was never more relevant than when he was in my circle when he was on my island. And that continues to shine through. So, that’s the beauty of this. Even when they feel like they are done with us or we are done with them, we’re still able to push everybody and make everybody better because it’s a competition.
“And there’s no sabatoge. There’s no bulls*** behind-the-scenes type stuff. It… The cream rises to the top. And if you are better than me, then go out there and show me. You can get as much time as you want. Go out there and hold that time and show that you’re commodity to this product. And that’s what we just continue to do. And anybody who orbits me and the Bloodline, it’s proven,” Roman Reigns said.
