Powerhouse Hobbs says he’s sidelined, but he has his sights set on revenge.
At AEW Collision: Homecoming, Powerhouse Hobbs brawled with Big Bill. They battled back and forth, and Hobbs suplexed Bill off the stage, sending both men through some tables.
Hobbs appeared in a taped video on the January 29th episode of AEW Dynamite. He commented on brawling with Bill and said that he was not cleared to travel to the show. Hobbs stated that once he was cleared to return, he was going to show Bill that hell was just the beginning.
Hobbs missed several months in 2024 after he ruptured his patella tendon in April, and he returned in November.
Update: Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Hobbs was willing to perform, and he was factored into Wednesday’s tapings, but he has a cut that will require another week before he’s cleared. This led to some adjustments being made to AEW Dynamite.
