Ethan Page invites John Cena to NXT so they could “do something” during his retirement tour.
Page briefly interacted with The Rock at NXT New Year’s Evil, and he says he’s ready to work with more top stars.
Speaking with Bully Ray on Busted Open Radio, Ethan Page commented on working with The Rock at NXT New Year’s Evil. He then called out John Cena and invited him to NXT. Page made it clear that he’s not afraid of working with anyone.
“I’ve shared the ring with you [Bully Ray], I’ve shared the ring with many Hall of Famers, many big names, many legends, many of the most dangerous men in professional wrestling,” Ethan Page said. “Just one step at a time to reach the top. That man was the top. I was prepared for this. I’ve been prepared for this, and I’ll continue to be prepared for this.
“There’s not a single wrestler living that intimidates me. John Cena on this tour, retirement tour, hey, stop by NXT, pal. I’ll look in you dead in the eyes. We could do something. There’s not a single living, breathing wrestler that would make me feel anything other than excitement for the opportunity to take their spot and their money.”
