Wade Barrett will fill in for Pat McAfee on the January 20th episode of WWE RAW.
ESPN previously announced that McAfee would be at the CFP National Championship game on January 20th, which would mean that he would miss Monday’s episode of WWE RAW.
During the January 17th episode of WWE SmackDown, Wade Barrett noted that he would be on RAW on Monday due to McAfee’s absence.
Barrett previously joined the WWE RAW commentary team in August 2023. Barrett moved to SmackDown in February 2024. In September, he returned to WWE RAW when Joe Tessitore joined the show. Pat McAfee returned to WWE RAW with the RAW on Netflix premiere. Barrett and Tessiore then moved to SmackDown on the January 10th episode of the show.
