John Cena might be retiring from in-ring competition this year, but he might not be done interacting with some WWE Superstars in Hollywood.
WWE Superstar John Cena recently sat down with Steve Weintraub of Collider. When asked what RAW or SmackDown Superstar he’d like to film an action-comedy with, Cena names one of his longtime rivals, CM Punk.
“I think the viewing public probably would get a kick out of… Usually, in the action-comedy space, it’s kind of oil and water, or two comedy styles that combat each other, and I don’t want to say ‘combat,’ but I think people would dig me and CM Punk together,” John Cena said.
Cena and Punk have shared the squared circle several times from 2008 to 2013. Their paths might end up crossing again next month in the 2025 Royal Rumble as both men have declared for the match over the last two weeks.
