CM Punk Pays Tribute To LA First Responders On WWE RAW

CM Punk thanked the firefighters and first responders on WWE RAW.

The January 13th episode of WWE RAW emanated from the SAP Center in San Jose, California, and CM Punk kicked off the show. The former world champion briefly paid tribute to the firefighters and first responders who are dealing with the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles and the surrounding area.

“I need to say something real fast,” Punk said. “I acknowledge all the firefighters and first responders in the great state of California and everybody in the surrounding states sending everybody to help fight this natural disaster, this fire. I’m talking Canada, Mexico. The people, we hear you. We appreciate you.”

The wildfires have killed at least 24 people, and they have displaced thousands more. They have also cost a preliminary estimate of between $135 billion and $150 billion in damages. WWE has shown their support for the American Red Cross, and they have encouraged fans to join them by sharing this link.
