TNA iMPACT Results:
This week’s episode of TNA iMPACT kicks off with a recap video of last week’s show.
Eric Young, Jonathan Gresham, and Steve Maclin vs. The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, and JDC)
- The finish of the match saw Steve Maclin hit JDC with the K.I.A. to score the pinfall victory for his team.
Winners: Eric Young, Jonathan Gresham, and Steve Maclin
After the match, The System attacked the winners with steel chairs. The System placed a steel chair on Gresham’s head and runs him into a steel post on the outside of the ring. Young and Maclin retaliate with chairs to run off The System but the damage was already done.
Grade: B
Solid match to kick off the show. The aftermath is interesting seeing that there are reports that Jonathan Gresham’s contract with TNA is coming up. This might be the last time we see Gresham on iMPACT for the foreseeable future.
Lei Ying Lee vs. Savannah Evans
- The finish of the match saw Lei Ying Lee hit Savannah Evans with Thunderstruck to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: Lei Ying Lee
Grade: B
Nice return for Lei Ying Lee. Still surprised that she wasn’t utilized more by WWE during her time in the company. With the landscape of the Knockouts division changing in 2025, she might be one to watch in terms of someone the company can build the division around.
Jordynne Grace lays out a challenge to Tessa Blanchard
Jordynne Grace is backstage with Gia Miller. Grace says if Tessa Blanchard wants to fight her meet her tonight in the middle of the ring.
A video package plays recapping the rivalry between Rosemary and TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich
Mike Santana competes in the Northern Armory Gauntlet Match
- Mike Santana defeats Judas Icarus and Travis Williams. The match ends with a disqualification when Icarus and Williams attack Santana from behind as Josh Alexander enters the ring.
Winner: Mike Santana
Grade: B+
This was a fun gauntlet match, but we all knew that they weren’t gonna let Santana run through the entire group tonight. The money match is him and Alexander, and that will likely happen in a few weeks at Genesis.
Quote the Raven… nevermore!
Rosemary is backstage talking about Masha Slamovich and the things she wants to do to her. Raven comes in and questions if Rosemary is ready for Slamovich since she hasn’t held the Knockouts Title in a long time. Rosemary puts a knife to Raven’s throat and he suggests she challenge Masha to a Clockwork Orange House of Fun match. Rosemary seemed to like this idea.
The Rascalz vs. The Good Hands
- The finish of the match saw The Rascalz hit a tag team combination move to score the pinfall victory.
Winners: The Rascalz
Grade: B
Fun match, but the outcome was never in doubt. The Rascalz will be facing The Hardyz for the Tag Titles at Genesis and this was simply a match to build their momentum going into the pay-per-view.
Will Frankie Kazarian cash in his Call Your Shot trophy tonight on TNA iMPACT?
Rhino is backstage working out preparing for his match later. Frankie Kazarian comes in and tells him if he hits the Gore on Nic Nemeth tonight he might call his shot later tonight. Rhino looks less than thrilled with that idea.
Steve Maclin and Eric Young are backstage. Maclin says The System tried to end Jonathan Gresham’s career tonight and says their message has been received loud and clear. Eric Young says this is above the law and they are going to hand out their own kind of justice and says this is a declaration of war.
Top Cla$$ come on and AJ Francis makes fun of them for being upset. After a heated exchange, the four men agree to a tag match that will likely take place on next week’s show pending Santino Marella’s approval.
Moose to change the look of the X-Division Championship at Genesis
TNA X-Division Champion Moose and Alisha Edwards come to the ring. Moose announces that at Genesis he will debut a new X-Division Championship that’s worthy of him. Alisha throws the old X-Division Title out of the ring and Moose buries it by saying how ugly it is.
Former TNA Wrestling star Andrew Everett hits the ring and buries what Moose just did with the X-Division Title and puts over the importance of the championship and the division. Moose claims he doesn’t remember who he is and tells him to get out of the ring.
Everett says he’s an X-Divison wrestler and Moose is not. Moose responds by big booting him in the head and gives him an impromptu title shot right now.
TNA X-Division Championship: Moose vs. Andrew Everett
- The finish of the match saw Moose hit Andrew Everett with the Last Ride powerbomb to score the pinfall victory.
Winner: And still X-Division Champion, Moose
Grade: N/A
Nothing more than a squash match. Nothing here to grade. Let’s hope the new X-Division title design at Genesis is a good one.
The Hardys will be in action next week on TNA iMPACT
Santino Marella is backstage on his cell phone. Sami Callihan comes in and says he and PCO feel shafted that The Rascalz are getting a shot at The Hardys over them. Callihan says whoever wins, they got next.
Marella instead proposes a match between them and The Hardys in a non-title match, and if they win they get added to the match at Genesis. Callihan agrees.
Jodynne Grace is in the ring. Grace says if Tessa Blanchard believes the Knockouts division is hers, she’s gonna have to go through her. Tessa Blanchard hits the ring and the two women brawl until they are separated by security.
Joe Hendry and Rhino vs. Ryan and Nic Nemeth
- The finish of the match saw Joe Hendry hit Ryan Nemeth with a Standing Ovation to score the pinfall victory.
Winners: Joe Hendry and Rhino
Grade: B+
Joe Hendry and Nic Nemeth have a staredown as TNA iMPACT goes off the air.
TNA iMPACT Review:
Pretty good show this week overall. They had some fun matches and some good build towards Genesis in a few weeks. I enjoyed it overall. Much better than last week’s episode in my opinion.
Grade: B+
