WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella has not wrestled since a one-off return in 2022, and she recently shared her thoughts on potentially returning to the ring.
Fans have buzzed about The Bella Twins potentially returning to WWE since Nikki Bella attended the WWE RAW on Netflix premiere. Nikki has also teased the possibility.
Speaking with Deion Sanders and Rocsi Diaz on the Tubi show We Got Time Today, Bella was asked if she’d ever return to the ring. Brie said that the wrestling ring has always been “home” to them. She also noted that if WWE called, it would be hard to say no.
“We’ll see,” Brie Bella said. “The wrestling ring has always been our home. I think that’s the hard thing about getting older, is that there’s that person inside you who, it’s like, ‘I would do anything to go back ten years to compete in the ring against the women today. But it’s time and age. There’s a funny thing to that. So we always want to compete.
“Every time I watch wrestling, I get fired up. [Nikki] and I would like, ‘Oh, this promo we should cut,’ but we’re like, wait, we’re not even in the business. But you know, you still are always there. So any time if WWE calls and is like, ‘Hey, ladies, we want you back,’ it’s always hard to say no.”
During her time with WWE, Brie Bella held the WWE Divas Championship. She and Nikki left WWE in March 2023, as their contracts expired.
