WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg is reportedly set to appear on an upcoming episode of WWE RAW.
As previously announced, Goldberg will have his retirement match in 2025. He appeared at WWE Bad Blood and got into a confrontation with Gunther. Since then, there has been no official word on when he will return to WWE programming. Gunther has teased a patch between the two, as he said that he’d be happy to teach him a lesson.
Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reports that Goldberg will be on the January 27th episode of WWE RAW, which will be in Atlanta. This will mark the fourth episode of WWE RAW on Netflix.
Goldberg On His Last Match
Speaking on his CarCast podcast, Goldberg shared his thoughts on returning to the ring.
“I just have to be me again,” he said. “The fact is, there’s a part of…this is something I’ve been trying to teach my son, it’s a difference in reality. I’m at least twice the age of whoever I’m gonna wrestle, at least, but your mind is a very powerful thing. Your mind can make you do things that your body completely tells you no.
“But it can only go a certain distance. It puts things in perspective, but I’m different person than Tyson is. I’m being asked to do something different than Tyson, and the amount of pressure that I feel after watching Tyson and Jake Paul does not weigh heavier on me by any stretch of the imagination, compared to the pressure I’m gonna put on myself.”
