Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship at AEW Worlds End, as he issued a challenge for the pay-per-view on AEW Dynamite: Winter is Coming.
In the opening match on Wednesday’s show, Jon Moxley and PAC faced Orange Cassidy and Jay White. The two teams battled back and forth, but “Hangman” Adam Page ran in and attacked Moxley, so the referee called for the bell. Page’s involvement led to a chaotic brawl. In the end, Moxley and his Death Riders left Page, White, and Cassidy laid out.
Backstage, Jon Moxley commented on how all three men wanted a shot at his title, and he agreed to give them a Christmas gift, as he said that he would defend the gold against them at AEW Worlds End.
The broadcast team later confirmed the match for AEW Worlds End.
Moxley previously beat Cassidy to retain the title at AEW Full Gear. There, White scored a big win against Page.
