Two title matches are set for the December 17 episode of WWE NXT.
As confirmed during the December 10 episode, Trick Williams will defend the NXT Championship against Eddy Thorpe. Thorpe was set to compete in the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline, but he was attacked backstage, taking him out of the match. On Tuesday’s show, Williams agreed to give Thorpe a title shot, and Eddy revealed that he orchestrated the attack in order to get a shot at the gold.
Plus, Nathan Frazer and Axiom will defend the NXT Tag Team Championship against Gallus. Axiom will have to pull double duty, as he will also face Ova Femi in a singles match.
Finally, ZARIA and Sol Ruca will face Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend after a backstage confrontation.
The announced card is as follows:
- NXT Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Eddy Thorpe
- NXT Tag Team Championship: Nathan Frazer & Axiom (c) vs. Gallus
- Oba Femi vs. Axiom
- ZARIA & Sol Ruca vs. Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson
