NJPW World Tag League Winners Crowned, New Match Set For Wrestle Kingdom

The winners of the NJPW World Tag League 2024 have been crowned.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling held the tournament finals on December 8. There, Hiromu Takahashi and Tetsuya Naito of  Los Ingobernables de Japon beat Gabe Kidd and SANADA of BULLET CLUB War Dogs.

The winners of World Tag League usually challenge for the IWGP Tag Team Championship at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom. However, the titles will likely be vacated due to HENARE suffering an injury.

Meanwhile, Naito challenged Takahashi to face him at Wrestle Kingdom 19. Takahashi then accepted the challenge.

In the World Tag League, Naito and Takahashi and SANADA and Kidd both benefitted from HENARE and Great-O-Khan withdrawing from the tournament due to injury. SANADA and Kidd won their block, while Naito and Takahashi scored the win in a three-way match to advance to the finals.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
