Meiko Satomura defeated DASH Chisako to win the Sendai Girls World Championship for the second time in her career.
Sendai Girls held their Big Show in Sendai event this past Sunday, December 8th. In the main event, Meiko Satomura challenged DASH Chisako for the latter’s Sendai Girls World Championship. DASH recently won the belt from Mika Iwata a few weeks prior at Sendai Girls’ last Korakuen Hall show on November 17th.
The matchup started with a show of respect between competitors. However, neither woman held back as DASH Chisako looked to score the upset victory over the legendary Meiko Satomura. The action spilled to the outside on multiple occasions, with DASH planting Meiko through a table after a splash from the top rope.
Both competitors had an exchange of forearms and kicks, with Meiko often gaining the upper hand due to her expertise. Towards the end, she executed her patented Scorpio Rising maneuver on DASH Chisako to pick up the three count. With the win, Meiko Satomura officially became a two-time Sendai Girls World Champion.
Upon celebrating her victory, Chihiro Hashimoto confronted the new champion Meiko Satomura to lay the challenge. They then set the stage for March 19, 2025 at the Yoyogi National Stadium for the matchup. Several other top competitors also entered the ring to join the two women with DASH Chisako coming in last. She joined the group for the announcement that Sendai Girls would be holding a major show at Xebio Arena Sendai on August 24, 2025.
