AJ Kirsch has popped up in an Invesco commercial alongside jazz legend Kenny G.
The former Tough Enough contestant now works as a pro wrestling emcee and actor, and he even got a ‘WrestleMania moment’ this year. He was one of the masked men carrying Bayley to the ring for her entrance against IYO SKY at WrestleMania 40.
While he is no longer wrestling full-time, AJ Kirsch is still keeping himself busy. He recently popped up in a commercial for Invesco, an investment management company based in Georgia. He portrayed a lift attendant in an office building, dressed as if working in a high-class hotel.
AJ Kirsch introduced and welcomed people as they entered the lift, remarking upon the “elevator music” being played. As it turned out there was something special about it as they were treated to a live performance from Kenny G.
“We added something special to the music today,” AJ Kirsch told one surprised member of the public before they walked onto the elevator and saw Kenny G playing the saxophone. He posted the advert on his personal Twitter account.
The point of the ad was to show how much of a premium organization Invesco is and conveyed that by hiring a jazz legend to play something as banal as elevator music.
AJ Kirsch also posted some behind-the-scenes photos and videos of his experience. This includes a photo alongside Kenny G and another woman in the same role as him.
This is not the first time AJ Kirsch has explored the world of acting. His credits cameos in TV and film projects as well as roles in video games. He voiced Buzz in WWE 2K19 and 2K20 as well as having a role in the Mafia: Definitive Edition video game.
