Cody Rhodes teases that there may be some surprises at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
WWE will bring back Saturday Night’s Main Event for the first time since 2008 on December 14. The company is reportedly planning to use an old-school look and feel for the show. Some surprises may be in store as well.
Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Cody Rhodes looked forward to WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
“To be able to bring the concept of Saturday Night’s Main Event back, and again, our Chief Content Officer, Triple H, I think for that evening, him again, Nick Khan, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, this trio of management, I think not only are we bringing back an exceptional card, great matches, great show, but there might be a few surprises here and there.”
Cody Rhodes is scheduled to face Carmelo Hayes on the November 29 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Rhodes is set to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
