TNA has officially signed Lei Ying Lee, formerly known as Xia Li.
In a press release, TNA Wrestling confirmed that they had signed Lei Ying Lee. Lee commented on the news in the official announcement.
“I’m very excited for the future in TNA Wrestling. I have my eye on a lot of the Knockouts, starting with Masha Slamovich and Jordynne Grace,” Lee said.
TNA also highlighted Lee’s background in kickboxing and martial arts.
Lee later commented on the news.
Gail Kim previously said that Lee had signed with TNA in October.
Lee Ying Lee’s WWE Run
Lee previously joined WWE in 2017 after she participated in a tryout in China. She competed in the first Mae Young Classic, and she was part of the second one was well. She also entered in the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble, and she made her NXT TV debut that February.
Lee then had a run in NXT, which included another appearance in the 2020 Royal Rumble. Lee was later repackaged as Tian Sha. She moved to the main roster in 2021 and competed on SmackDown. She was later drafted to RAW in 2023, and she feuded with Becky Lynch. Lee also targeted Lyra Valkyria’s NXT Women’s Championship. She was released in April 2024. Lee then made her TNA debut on the September 26 episode of TNA IMPACT, and she has been with TNA ever since.
