MJF has called Rosie O’Donnell a leech after she signed a photo of him at a signing.
The pair go way back. At the age of five, a young MJF appeared on the Rosie O’Donnell show to showcase his incredible talents. He gave a somewhat operatic performance of “You Are My Sunshine” before admitting his dream of becoming a professional wrestler.
It doesn’t seem like the pair have kept in touch since then, but MJF is always happy to reach out on social media to talk about his former colleague. The former AEW Champion responded to a photograph Rosie O’Donnell signed at a recent signing with some choice words for the host.
The photo was a still from the episode that featured a young MJF. Rosie O’Donnell signed the photograph for a fan at a signing with the words “You Are My Sunshine”. This enraged MJF. He took to Twitter to address this, calling her a “leech” as she gleefully held up the photo.
He inferred that she was using his fame to get attention by signing this photo given his recent success in the wrestling business and in Hollywood.
“what a leech.” MJF wrote on Twitter while posting the photo.
MJF is currently filming for the new Adam Sandler movie, Happy Gilmore 2. He has a significant role in the film and this could help launch him towards a career in Hollywood going forward.
