Hornswoggle says being Vince McMahon‘s son was probably the biggest thing that ever happened in his career, and he can’t talk about it.
Hornswoggle had a memorable WWE run. Perhaps more than any other highlights, the storyline where he was revealed as Vince McMahon’s illegitimate son has stood the test of time. However, due to the sexual abuse and trafficking allegations against McMahon, he resigned from WWE and TKO in January 2024, so some WWE stars hesitate to talk about him.
Speaking on The Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast, Vince McMahon came up in the conversation.
“Hey, that’s my dad that we also can’t talk about anymore either [laughs],” Hornswoggle said. “Can’t talk about that whole thing. Probably the biggest thing that ever happened in my career, and nope.”
The Undertaker quipped that he still talked about “dad”, and he didn’t really care.
Hornswoggle On Vince McMahon
Hornswoggle previously discussed his storyline with Vince McMahon in an interview with PWMania. He stated that it was his favorite storyline.
“Vince’s son for sure. Loved it. When they started the mystery of who the son is, we were two weeks in and Stephanie McMahon walked up to me backstage to do this shot and she goes, ‘this is going to be big.’ And I go ‘yeah,’ she goes, ‘it’s gonna be big.’ And I didn’t realise how big it was gonna be. It was the biggest thing I’ve ever done. Just unexpected and every week doing something or multiple things.
“There was the 15th anniversary RAW, I was on five segments that show like, I opened the show, and then I was the closing shot of that show. It was a whirlwind man and then all the house shows it was just busiest I could have ever been and it was a it was a moment in time where I never like I never expected it to be as big as it got,” Hornswoggle said.
