Milo Mirra shocked the world by doing a senton dive off a pogo stick into the crowd. That is not a joke.
Just when you think you’ve seen everything, a wrestler completely shocks you and the people in the crowd he pogos into.
It is very rare that something brand new is discovered in wrestling. The Irish whip was created back in the 1920s. The German Suplex originated from Karl Gotch and remains a fan favorite. Even the ridiculous Canadian Destroyer has enjoyed over 20 years in the spotlight since being created by Amazing Red (and innovated by Petey Williams).
However, the use of a pogo stick to launch yourself into the crowd is brand new. Indie wrestler Milo Mirra was videoed on Twitter at a recent Chaotic Wrestling event using a pogo stick in the match. With his opponent safely behind the safety barricade, he used the stick to hop his way over to it.
Then, with one mighty bounce, he lept off the pogo stick and into the crowd. He rolled in the air, crashing down onto his opponent with a flying senton bomb that has gone viral on social media.
Milo Mirra responded to the clip. He used the virality to his advantage, offering to do the spot to any company that book him in the New Year.
“Oops I went viral again… I have dates open in 2025, I’ll do this AND wrestle one of the best matches in ring on your card. Let’s get it.”
Additionally, this wasn’t the first time he’d used a pogo stick in a match. Milo Mirra posted a clip to Twitter on New Year’s Eve 2023 of him boinging around outside the ring. Over, he did not leap over the barrier during this match, keeping his recent appearance unique.
