The character of Damian Priest in WWE has continued to evolve into a true version of himself throughout 2024.
WWE Superstar Damian Priest was a recent guest on Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg. When asked about his recent promo with Gunther on the November 11 episode of RAW, Priest said he felt comfortable just to be himself and Paul Heyman told him as such afterward.
“I felt good, I felt comfortable,” Damian Priest said. “I was flowing, I just went in, and it just felt good. For instance, [Paul] Heyman was talking to me after, and he was like, ‘There’s no distinction between the character and the person. That’s you now.’ That felt good. I was appreciative of his words. For me, it felt smooth, man. I think I finally know how to just be me.” [H/T: Fightful]
Damian Priest will challenge Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series on November 30.
