Becky Lynch is reportedly expected to return to WWE soon.
Former WWE Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch has been absent from WWE since she lost to Liv Morgan on the May 27 episode of WWE RAW. Lynch then entered free agency. Her future has been up in the air ever since. As previously announced, Lynch will make her first public appearance since her WWE departure at the 2024 Vulture Festival on November 17.
In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that sources within WWE and Netflix have said that Becky Lynch is “expected to be back in the mix” with WWE by the time RAW premieres on Netflix in January. This would likely mean that the two sides are close on a new agreement.
WRKD Wrestling also wrote that Lynch’s return had been a “done deal for a bit.”
During Lynch’s absence, Liv Morgan has often claimed that she retired “The Man”. Lynch recently said that she had many options on the table, and she was taking a breath. Meanwhile, Triple H previously stated that Lynch was on a hiatus.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
Lyra Valkyria On Becky Lynch
Speaking with Steve Fall for Ten Count Media, Lyra Valkyria was asked to comment on whether she thought that Lynch would return to WWE. Valkyria noted that Lynch was good at keeping people guessing.
“I think Becky is very, very good at keeping people guessing,” Valkyria said. “If she doesn’t want anyone to know her next move, nobody is gonna know her next move [laughs].”
