Cody Rhodes will reportedly have a big title defense next month on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on NBC.
The storyline between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens has been building for months now. And it appears that things will come to a head next month in primetime at the Nassau Colosseum.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cody Rhodes is slated to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Without a main roster premium live event set for December, WWE will reportedly be putting a lot of effort into this show. If this initial match is any indication, we should be in for a great event on NBC next month.
No other matches are currently known for this event at this time.
