Upcoming AEW Collision Taping Cancelled, Reportedly Set For Venue Change

Update: AEW has confirmed the December 7 episode of Collision will now take place at GalaxyCon Columbus.

An upcoming AEW Collision episode was cancelled and is now set to relocate.

The road to AEW Worlds End was set to run through Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio for an episode of AEW Collision on Saturday, December 7. That show, however, has since been called off, with the Nationwide Arena website writing “The AEW (ALL ELITE WRESTLING) event originally scheduled for December 7 at Nationwide Arena has been cancelled.”

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has since provided more details on this cancelation, reporting that AEW is still planning to run a television taping in the Columbus area that same weekend, just from a different venue. Fightful Select further notes that this venue change came about after an “interesting opportunity” was presented to AEW. As of now, the details of that opportunity are unclear, though AEW is expected to announce it themselves soon.

In the original graphic for the December 7 AEW Collision, the likes of Kris Statlander, Orange Cassidy, FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), Darby Allin, Christian Cage, Willow Nightingale, and AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May were advertised. It remains to be seen if this lineup will also apply to the updated Collision destination.

Three days before its Columbus return, AEW will host tapings for Dynamite and Rampage in the city of Fishers, Indiana, specifically at the Fishers Event Center.
