Moose is the new X Division Champion.
Last night on TNA Wrestling’s iMPACT show, ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey put his X-Division Championship on the line against former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose.
Both stars put up a tough fight. In the end, Moose managed to pin ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey to become the new TNA Wrestling X-Division Champion.
Mike Bailey is a three-time X-Division Champion. His last run lasted for about 44 days. He had defeated Zachary Wentz in a one-on-one match to capture the title. Moose on the other hand, had never held the X-Division Championship until this week’s episode of TNA iMPACT.
After Moose won the title, he celebrated for a short while and left the ring. Mike Bailey’s tag team partner Trent Seven then came into the ring to appreciate the efforts of his partner in crime. This was the first taste of championship gold for Moose since losing the TNA World Heavyweight Championship earlier this year to the Most Wanted Man Nic Nemeth.
But then, in a shocking turn of events, Trent Seven hit a low blow on Bailey. He then choked him out with a towel and tossed him outside the ring.
