WWE SmackDown saw an increase in viewership on November 1.
According to Wrestlenomics, SmackDown averaged 1.428 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.42 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership number is up from last week’s episode when an average of 1.418 million viewers tuned in. The demo is slightly down from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.43 rating in the same demographic.
Per Wrestlenomics, SmackDown ranked #2 in primetime in the demographic on cable. The NBA game between the Timberwolves and the Nuggets ranked first with a 0.47 demo and averaged 1.396 million viewers.
What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off with a promo from Nia Jax, which led to a match that saw Liv Morgan defeat Tiffany Stratton.
The Street Profits defeated Pretty Deadly in tag team action.
Elsewhere on the show, Bayley and Noami defeated Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell.
In the main event of the evening, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton defeated Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser. Kevin Owens attacked Orton after the match which allowed Gunther to attack Rhodes as well.
