Max The Impaler makes more history.
Last week, Outsports released its 2024 Power 100 list, which recognizes the most influential LGBTQ people in sports. Among this list were three professional wrestlers, one of whom is the NWA World Television Champion Max The Impaler, also known as “The Non-Binary Nightmare.”
With Max ranking at number 98 on the Power 100, the National Wrestling Alliance has issued a congratulatory post looking back on Max’s “groundbreaking feats” in the company. This includes holding the NWA Women’s TV and NWA World Television Championships at the same time. Max also topped last year’s QWI 200, which honors the best LGBTQ pro wrestlers.
“Max has been a dominant force in the National Wrestling Alliance for the last several years,” said NWA Chief Operating Officer Joe Galli. “‘The Non-Binary Nightmare’ has undoubtedly broken boundaries. Now their work in the National Wrestling Alliance has clearly had a lasting impact well beyond professional wrestling.”
Elsewhere on the Power 100, former AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm ranked at number 77. Former AEW World Tag Team and World Trios Champion Anthony Bowens also appeared on the list, specifically at number 43. WNBA’s Brittney Griner claimed the number one spot on this year’s list.
Earlier this year, Max The Impaler inked an exclusive contract that will keep them with the National Wrestling Alliance for many years to come.
