Christian Cage and The Patriarchy were revealed as Taz‘s attackers on AEW Dynamite.
Taz was previously attacked in the parking lot, and his son, HOOK, set his sights on those responsible. HOOK came to the ring on the October 23 episode after saying that Taz’s attackers were there. The Patriarchy was standing in the ring, and HOOK took the fight to them. However, Kip Sabian hit HOOK with a low blow from behind. Cage gained the upper hand and hit HOOK with a Killswitch onto a briefcase.
Cage then told HOOK, “It’s not what it seems,” suggesting that he had something else planned.
Taz underwent knee replacement surgery, and there is no word on when he will return to AEW commentary.
