MJF names his terms for a potential match against Adam Cole or Roderick Strong at AEW Full Gear.
Cole returned and confronted MJF at AEW WrestleDream. On the following episode of AEW Dynamite, Cole challenged MJF to face him. The former world champion said that he would never get the match.
Cole came to the ring on the October 23 episode of AEW Dynamite, but he was interrupted by Roderick Strong, Mike Bennett, and Matt Taven. They agreed to finish their feud with MJF once and for all, but Strong said that he wanted to face MJF first.
MJF then appeared on the video screen. While getting a massage, he issued a challenge to Cole and Strong, saying that whoever won three straight matches first would get to wrestle him at AEW Full Gear. He also said that he would not be appearing in-person until the show. MJF ended the message by saying that he hoped they would get a happy ending, but he knew that he would.
Later in the show, Buddy Matthews challenged Cole to face him on the October 30 “Fright Night Dynamite” edition of the show.
