One of the most popular and unique characters in the world of professional wrestling is ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm. She holds the record for the third-longest AEW Women’s World Championship reign. Her character was and is one of the most unique gimmicks in professional wrestling history. The Timeless One was recently compared to WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker by AEW’s RJ City.
While speaking on former ECW Extremist Francine’s The Queen’s Extreme podcast, AEW’s RJ City shared his thoughts on ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm. He claimed that Storm has been maintaining Kayfabe in professional wrestling as good as The Undertaker. City also stated that the former AEW Women’s World Champion is so talented and highly committed to her role.
“Toni Storm makes anything work because she’s so talented and committed. I honestly haven’t seen anyone so wrapped up in a whole thing that is unique to themselves since, I don’t know, The Undertaker? And she’s not doing half-a** horrible podcast now. She’s not wearing weird problematic shirts and being like, ‘Wrestling is about telling stories.’ Thanks, Mark. I really appreciate it.”
RJ City also claimed that The Undertaker was a lot better during his wrestling days and called his podcast and the current version of the Deadman weird.
“His show is weird. The guy is weird. He’s a weird man. ‘Back in my day, it was a lot better.’ I’m sorry, were you always dead? Did you start off dead? Would you like to explain that?” RJ City said.
