Kyle O’Reilly will challenge for the gold at AEW Battle of the Belts XII.
On the October 18 episode of AEW Rampage, Kyle O’Reilly beat Aaron Solo and challenged AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada to face him at AEW Battle of the Belts XII. The broadcast team later confirmed the match.
O’Reilly previously challenged Okada to face him at AEW WrestleDream, and they brawled after Okada turned him down.
As previously announced, AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May will face Anna Jay in an eliminator match at Battle of the Belts XII.
WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on Saturday.
