AEW Dynamite Viewership Increases On 10/16, Demo Also Rises

AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership on October 16 with the return to Wednesday night.

According to Wrestlenomics, 633,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, drawing a 0.20 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode when 329,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.10 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Adam Cole calling out MJF. Friedman wasn’t in the building but told Cold via satellite that he’ll never face him in another match.

Mercedes Moné defeated Queen Aminata to retain the AEW TBS Championship.

Shelton Benjamin made his AEW Dynamite in-ring debut picking up a win over Lio Rush. Benjamin will face Swerve Strickland on the October 30 episode.

The main event saw Christian Cage defeat Jay White thanks to assists from both Kip Sabian and Hangman Page.
