Let the speculation begin, as a vignette aired on WWE SmackDown.
On the October 4 episode of WWE SmackDown, a brief vignette featured clips of cars and police sirens, as well as people walking in front of headlights. The video also showed cars driving and a picture of a city skyline. At the end of the video, a “Coming soon” message played.
Given all of the imagery with cars, many fans linked the video with the Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin), who have reportedly signed with WWE. Other references in the video included a shot of the skyline and Woodward Ave. in Detroit, as well as the Monument to Joe Louis, also known as The Fist, in Detroit.
