In a tweet, Taz announced that he would be out for a while, as he will be undergoing total knee replacement surgery very soon. He said that he would talk to everyone “down the road.”
The announcement comes after Taz was written out of the October 2 episode of AEW Dynamite. Ahead of the show, AEW announced that he was attacked in the parking lot, and he would not be able to call the action on Wednesday. He commented on the attack by saying “those guys” got him good and destroyed his leg.
As of this writing, there is no word on how long Taz will sidelined. WrestleZone wishes him well in his recovery, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
