CM Punk knows he’s an older guy in the WWE locker room, and let it show in a recent picture with Roxanne Perez.
Punk was on hand at the October 1 episode of NXT — the first episode of the show on The CW — where he got to watch Perez defeat Giulia to retain her hold on the NXT Women’s Championship. After the show, Perez shared a photo of her and Punk on Instagram, in which Punk is jokingly rolling his eyes as Perez flaunts the belt in front of him and says Chicago is her town.
Punk responded to the post in a comment, saying that he’s “hurt,” “old,” and that he works “with children,” before capping off the comment with an eye roll emoji. His remark, of course, is a not-so-subtle call back to his 2022 AEW All Out press conference remarks.

On a more serious note, Perez discussed having the opportunity to learn from CM Punk, among other veterans, during a recent interview with Kenny Morales for 12 WBOY. Perez said it means a lot to her because Punk is helping when he doesn’t have to.
“It’s meant so much to me, especially because I grew up idolizing him,” Roxanne Perez said. “Now that I get to be under his learning tree, it’s really cool. He’s so awesome. He stops by our NXT pay-per-views, watches every match from start to finish, and gives us feedback and advice. It’s something he doesn’t have to do, and I think that’s really cool.”
