All Elite Wrestling heads to Pittsburgh’s Petersen Events Center for its fifth anniversary show. Tony Khan has booked a stacked card for this week while teasing an announcement.
Here’s what’s on tap for the October 2, 2024, episode of Wednesday Night Dynamite.
Serena Deeb vs. Britt Baker
Pittsburgh’s very own Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. returns to her hometown to take on “The Professor” Serena Deeb tonight on AEW Dynamite’s fifth anniversary show. Britt last competed in an AEW ring at All In London 2024. Deeb beat Queen Aminata on the September 21 episode of Collision.
Hangman Page vs. Juice Robinson on AEW Dynamite
Juice Robinson is coming for Adam Page after being mercilessly attacked by him following the Strap Match between Hangman and Jeff Jarrett on AEW Collision Grand Slam.
Will Ospreay (c) vs. Ricochet – AEW International Championship
Eight years after their critically-acclaimed match at NJPW Best of The Super Junior XXIII, Will Ospreay and Ricochet go one-on-one to decide the fate of the AEW International Championship.
Ospreay and Fletcher failed to win the tag team titles from Young Bucks previously on AEW Dynamite. Ricochet is currently on a three-match winning streak.
Title for Title match on AEW Dynamite
The fifth anniversary edition of Dynamite will see a huge match-up when AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson takes on AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada in a title-for-title match.
The Rainmaker’s title will only be on the line for the first 20 minutes.
Both men are currently tied apiece. Danielson won their first encounter and AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023. Okada evened the score at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 back in January.
