The working relationship between AEW and CMLL continues.
On the latest edition of CMLL Informa, CMLL revealed that AEW’s Red Velvet will compete in the 2024 Women’s Grand Prix on October 25. Velvet currently holds the ROH Women’s World Television Championship. The Grand Prix will mark her CMLL debut.
CMLL also announced that AEW star Willow Nightingale will compete in the Grand Prix, Nightingale recently had a brief run with the CMLL World Women’s Championship. She lost the title at CMLL’s 91st Anniversary Show.
