Brie Garcia Says Her Son Will Be A Wrestler, Shares What He Was Like At ‘All In’

Brie Garcia thinks her son, Buddy, will be a wrestler.

Given that he has two wrestling parents, that is not an unlikely situation. However, the young Buddy Danielson’s behavior backstage made that seem a certainty.

Both their children, Birdie and Buddy, were front-and-center at AEW All In 2024. They sat in the front row alongside Brie Garcia for the main event, where Bryan Danielson put his career on the line against Swerve Strickland.

An emotional crowd exploded when the American Dragon won the match finally. He took home the AEW Championship, marking his first championship victory since signing for AEW in 2021.

His children were visibly thrilled at ringside. They even joined their dad and Brie Garcia in the ring to celebrate after the match. However, it was Buddy’s backstage antics that really caught the eye.

Brie Garcia spoke on the Nikki & Brie Show, where she shared what Buddy Danielson was like backstage at Wembley Stadium. She noted that he tried to wrestle everyone in AEW, climbing all over them and “wanting to do fun things”.

Brie on Buddy Danielson’s wrestling future

“He was just in his zone, his energy, to the point I was like, ‘Um, mommy’s here!.'” Brie Garcia said. “Because he would run from me, he would try and wrestle everyone. He was climbing all the guys and holding their hands, and just wanting to do fun things with them. He was amped. And then we go out to go watch Bryan, and I know some parents are like, ‘Wow, it was a hardcore match to have your kids out there,’ but my kids know pro wrestling. They get it. They know we’re like stunt people, so they understand.”

She added that Buddy Danielson will “for sure” be a wrestler one day, following in both his parent’s footsteps.

“The American Dragon” previously shared that his kids were allowed to watch his strap match against Ricky Starks. Danielson was “bleeding buckets” in the match, so Brie told their son, Buddy, that it was only ketchup. Later, Danielson said Buddy scraped his shin and when it was bleeding, he sarcastically told Danielson that it was ketchup, too.
