Giovanni Vinci is now 0-2 on WWE SmackDown.
Giovanni Vinci started a new chapter of his career when he was selected by SmackDown in the 2024 WWE Draft. He was absent for months, but after some vignettes, he debuted on the September 6 episode of SmackDown. There, Apollo Crews beat him in a matter of seconds.
Vinci got a rematch on the September 20 episode of WWE SmackDown. Though the match lasted longer than four seconds, the outcome was largely the same, as Crews caught Vinci with a roll-up and scored the pin. Infuriated, Vinci attacked Crews after the bell.
